Bonita Robinson
Committed to Bunnell, FL | Advocate for Community Progress

Bonita Robinson, born in Perry, FL, moved to Bunnell at age 10 and has since dedicated her life to serving her community. Currently, she serves as the Community Services Area Manager at the G.W. Carver Center in the heart of South Bunnell, where she plays an instrumental role in maintaining this vital community hub. The Carver Center provides athletic leagues, after-school programs, and other essential services, and under Bonita’s leadership, it continues to be a safe, positive space for residents to gather, connect, and thrive.

Bonita previously served as a Bunnell City Commissioner from 2014 to 2017, championing initiatives to improve local infrastructure, support small businesses, and advance essential community programs. Her commitment to Bunnell is shaped by her close association with the late Daisy Henry, a respected community leader, and the mentorship of Rev. Giddens of Espanola, who instilled in her a deep dedication to service and community values.

Bonita is married to Joseph Robinson, and together they have a blended family of five children—two sons, a daughter, and three stepchildren. Known for her transparency, accountability, and collaborative spirit, Bonita is eager to continue making a positive impact in Bunnell. Now, as she runs for Commissioner again, she is focused on creating sustainable economic opportunities, enhancing community services, and ensuring a high quality of life for all residents. Bonita is committed to listening to Bunnell residents, addressing their concerns, and championing their needs with integrity and purpose.
